Easter reading buddies

For Easter our reading buddies hid our Easter baskets in their room and we hid theirs in our room.  We were so excited all day long to find our baskets and loved the yummy treats we got from them!

Spanish Easter Tradition

To help us celebrate Easter one of our friends brought in dyed eggs filled with confetti.  A Spanish Easter tradition is to go on an egg hunt.  Once the eggs are found you then smash them on other people and get them with "confetti".  We had lots of fun smashing for sure!!

Licorice Lacing

For the letter Ll this week we did a fun activity called licorice lacing where we had to eat a piece of licorice without using our hands.  It was pretty funny and yummy!!

Ll word hunt

For the letter Ll this week we went on a little Ll word hunt and wore these glasses to help us look for the "little words".

For the letter Ww this week one of our morning greeting was a spider web greeting.  

Leprechaun Traps

Our traps are all set up to catch a sneaky little leprechaun.

That naughty little leprechaun messed up all of our traps and stole all of our gold...we were not happy!
