First day of fall

One of the activities we did for the first day of fall was to sort our leaves by color.  

One of our literacy centers this week was to paint our name using microwavable puffy paint.  It was messy and the paint was a little stinky but definitely fun!!

We enjoyed singing, dancing, reading and cuddling with our teddies today! 

Pete the Cat treats

This past week we enjoyed listening to some Pete the Cat books.  After reading, Rocking in My School Shoes, we went on a scavenger hunt looking for Pete the Cat.  He took us all around the school showing us where all the important things are.  We never found the cat, but he did leave us some yummy popsicle treats!

Watercolor Guided Discovery

We worked on our hopes and dreams for kindergarten this week.  Everyone enjoyed using watercolors for this fun project!

Too Much Glue

For our first week we did lots of guided discovery of different school supplies.  After reading the funny story, Too Much Glue, we made our own sloppy glue projects!

What a good looking and great group of kids!!

The graduation ceremony was a huge success to a wonderful year!  I am truly going to miss this class..they really were an excellent and fun group to work with!
